Crafts at the Holiday Fair

Bethany Swanson will be organizing the Craft Fair portion of the Holiday Fair, and she is looking for more craft vendors - members and friends are welcome to participate!  If you or someone you know would like to be a part of the event, please contact her at bethanyq@yahoo.com

or call/text 914-953-7061.

Crafting Get-together to prepare for the Holiday Fair

Bethany will be hosting some drop-in-as-you-like crafting time at her house on the Saturdays leading up to the Holiday Fair (11/9 and 11/16) from 12-5 pm.  If you would like to lend your creative minds and helping hands to the effort to make items to sell at the Fair, please feel free to stop by, even if just for part of this time.  We will have all range of activities, from cutting and gluing to painting and feltwork.  Even if you'd just like to come cheer us on, please feel free to stop by!  If you need directions, please email or call Bethany (bethanyq@yahoo.com/914-953-7061).

A Caring Need

As many of you know, our beloved RE director Allison Rosner and her family will be moving to a new home in Newbury.  They have closed on their new house, but are still living in their Gloucester apartment.  Allison has been driving back and forth to houseclean before they move in their things, targeting the week of November 17.  She could really use some help with general cleaning tasks over the next couple of weeks.  If anyone has any daytime availability, please contact Allison to discuss details further.  Allison and Sean's new address is 48 Moody Street, Byfield, MA 01922.  Their phone numbers and emails are in the directory.  Any questions, please contact Becky of the C&H Committee.

Conserving Heat

We ask that the last person to leave the church please shut the double doors in the church foyer to conserve heat. Thank you!

Food Drive
The Open Door Pantry has an annual food drive leading up to Thanksgiving. Please remember to bring foodstuff (can, boxes, peanut butter, soups, etc.) over the next weeks and put it into the food baskets up front. We'll deliver the food just before Thanksgiving. Thanks, Open Door team.

Grace Center
Our next Fifth Friday lunch for the Grace Center will take place on Nov 29th, the day after Thanksgiving. This presents a challenge coming on a long holiday weekend, but our guests will need food and fellowship all the more.  We can purchase most of the food, so please consider making a donation in any amount. If you have questions or could help on that Friday, please contact Becky.
