Crafts at the Holiday Fair

Bethany Swanson will be organizing the Craft Fair portion of the Holiday Fair, and she is looking for more craft vendors - members and friends are welcome to participate!  If you or someone you know would like to be a part of the event, please contact her at or call/text 914-953-7061.

Crafting at Bethany’s has been cancelled for Saturday 11/6 because we have made such good progress. Contact Bethany if you have any questions.

White Elephant at the Holiday Craft Fair

Items for the White Elephant can be dropped off during coffee hour this Sunday, November 16th and on Friday, November 22 from 1:30 until 7pm. Please donate gently used items. Accessories like jewelry and decorative scarfs sell well. No clothing please. See Melanie or Robin with questions.

Conserving Heat

We ask that the last person to leave the church please shut the double doors in the church foyer to conserve heat. Thank you!

Building Committee

We have improved the lighting and safe situations in the attic.  With various needs to access the attic storage fairly soon, I want all to know that there is no longer a string to pull - to turn on the attic light (there is a convenient switch) and the hatch door can be easily secured by a simple board that can be rotated out from the front wall of the attic so that the access hatch door rests against it.  -Bill Vachon

Grace Center

Our next Fifth Friday lunch for the Grace Center will take place on Nov 29th, the day after Thanksgiving. This presents a challenge coming on a long holiday weekend, but our guests will need food and fellowship all the more.  We can purchase most of the food, so please consider making a donation in any amount. If you have questions or could help on that Friday, please contact Becky.

Food Drive

The Open Door Pantry has an annual food drive leading up to Thanksgiving. Please remember to bring foodstuff (can, boxes, peanut butter, soups, etc.) over the next weeks and put it into the food baskets up front. We'll deliver the food just before Thanksgiving. Thanks, Open Door team

Intergenerational Thanksgiving Service

November 24th will be our Intergenerational Thanksgiving service. Please bring a canned good or two to contribute to the Open Door Food collection. Items will be collected during the service. Thank you for your help! Please see Allison with questions.
